Manu Samoa 7s Head Coach, Muliagatele Fata Brian Lima, has announced the squad to represent Samoa in the upcoming Hong Kong 7’s Leg of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series 2023-2024 in Hong Kong this weekend.

Samoa is in Pool C, alongside Ireland, Spain and South Africa. Manu Samoa 7s will kick off their campaign on Friday 5th April at 4:16pm against Spain (Samoan local time).

The lineup introduces a promising youngster set to potentially make his debut this weekend: Jeff Levy (Vaimoso). Additionally, the team welcomes back Tuna Tuitama (Laumua o Tumua Afega) who is available for selection and allowed from his current Moana Pasifika commitments. Also Malakesi Masefau makes his return into the squad.

Vaovasa Afa Su’a is ruled out due to an illness, while Steve Onosai, Paul Scanlan and Taunuu Niulevaea are ruled out due to injuries sustained in Vancouver & LA 7s.
