This week, the Pacific Islands Forum’s High-Level Group on the Political Talanoa for Phase Three of the Regional Architecture Review is in Palau.
The delegation comprising Gerald Zackios (RMI), Peseta Noumea Simi (Samoa), and Dr Jimmie Rodgers (Solomon Islands) held consultations with President Surangel S. Whipps, Jr and Minister of State Gustav N. Aitaro.
Further engagements with Ministers and senior officials are scheduled in the coming days, focusing on key challenges, emerging opportunities, and strategic recommendations toward a more integrated and effective regional governance mechanism.
The high-level group also met with the Pacific Ocean Commissioner, Dr Filimon Manoni as part of the consultations.
