Papua New Guinea deputy Prime Minister John Rosso congratulates Solomon Islands Prime Minister-elect on behalf of his family, the people of Lae and Papua New Guinea.

Jeremiah Manele was re-elected to the National Parliament as the Member for the Hograno-Kia-Havulei Constituency.
Manele is a member of the Coalition for National Unity and Transformation (CNUT) which consist of OUR Party, the Peoples First Party and Kadere Party.
As a former Minister for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade Minister (MFAET),Jeremiah Manele’s career trajectory showcases a blend of diplomatic experience, bureaucratic expertise, and political leadership within Solomon Islands’ government structures.
“Jeremiah Manele is a friend to our country having graduated from the University of Papua New Guinea with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politics and Public Administration in 1991.
“I would also like to thank former Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare for his dedication and sound leadership in the last five years,” said Rosso.
He further states that Sogavare has displayed exceptional and outstanding leadership in fostering bilateral relationships between Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
“I look forward in working with the Prime Minister-elect Hon. Jeremiah Manele to continue ensuring that our two countries and our people enjoy the mutual partnerships in development and strengthening our relations to improve the lives of our people,” stated DPM Rosso.
