Cabinet has endorsed the submission of Fiji’s Third Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC3.0) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), reaffirming Fiji’s continued commitment to global climate action.

The NDC serves as a key mechanism for countries to outline their national climate commitments, including emission reduction targets, adaptation measures, and climate finance needs. It also provides a framework for addressing climate change–induced loss and damage.

Fiji’s NDC3.0 was developed following a comprehensive evaluation of progress under the previous NDC and extensive national consultations with stakeholders across government, civil society, and the private sector.
