Fijian 7s Coach Osea Kolinisau has named an impressive squad for the upcoming HSBC Hong Kong 7s tournament next week.

One of the most notable additions is the return of Olympic gold medallist Vatemo Ravouvou, and the debut of promising newcomer Joji Nasova.

Ravouvou’s comeback is expected to inject invaluable experience and motivation into the team, while Nasova’s debut adds a fresh dynamic.

The squad is expected to make an impact on the most important leg in the 7s series.

Joining them are Manueli Maisamoa and Rubeni Kabu, both making a welcomed return after a hiatus from the last three legs.

Notable omissions from the list are Filipo Bukayaro, Ropate Rere and Napolioni Bolaca.

Coach Osea Kolinisau said, “We’ve had rigorous training over the past two weeks to ensure the boys are primed for this crucial leg of the series.

“Their competitiveness and determination in training are evident, and they’re highly motivated.”

Fiji finds themselves in a competitive pool alongside Australia, Canada, and France, setting the stage for thrilling matchups and fierce competition.
