Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua lock Carletta Yee will be the youngest Drua player ever to make her debut when she runs out against the Brumbies in this week’s Round 3 of the Smartech Super Rugby Women.

The 17-year-old will make her first appearance, as will Olympics Bronze medallist and former Fijiana 7s captain Rusila Nagasau.

True to his word, Head Coach Ifereimi Rawaqa has selected a fresh starting 15 for the crucial match on Saturday (15 match) at Churchill Park, Lautoka against the visitors from Canberra.

In the starting 15, powerhouse prop Ana Korovata (1) will start at loosehead, with Tiana Robanakadavu (3) at tighthead prop. Last week’s try scorer Loraini Senivutu (2) will start at hooker.

In the middle row, Fuga Ofakimalino (4) partners Carletta Yee (5). Rusila Nagasau (6) starts at blindside flanker with Nunia Daunimoala (7) at openside. Bitila Tawake (8) is at number 8.

In the backline, the seasoned Setaita Railumu (9) will start at halfback, partnering Salanieta Kinita (10) who is at flyhalf. Vice-captain Vitalina Naikore (11) moves from centre to left wing for this match with Repeka Tove (14) retaining her place at right wing. Ema Adivitaloga (12) starts at inside centre with Merewairita Neivosa (13) outside her. Litiana Vueti (15) completes the starting line-up at fullback.

On the bench, Keleni Marawa (16) is named as backup hooker, Salanieta Nabuli (17) will cover the loosehead prop role with captain Vika Matarugu as backup tighthead. Alfreda Fisher (19) covers for the locks while Karalaini Naisewa (20) will cover the loose forward trio. Kolora Lomani (21) is backup halfback with Josivini Naihamu (22) covering the inside halves. Luisa Tisolo (23) covers the rest of the backline.
