The official results of the FSM Congress General Election for Yap State’s two-year term seat, held on 04 March 2025, have been finalised and certified.

National Election Commissioner John Chugen confirmed the outcome after a thorough review by the Central and Local Counting and Tabulating Committees, ensuring that the election was fair and compliant with all laws.

Andy P. Choor emerged victorious, securing 2,438 votes, and will represent Yap State in the FSM Congress.

Other candidates included Alexander Tretnoff with 216 votes, Victor Nabeyan with 536 votes, and Fidelis Thiyer-Fanoway with 45 votes.

The election process has now been officially completed with the results verified and certified.
